With this knowledge, Alex also discovers that his father’s murder was no random act of violence, but Satan’s first failed attempt at destroying Alex before he turned twenty and joined the Gods in eradicating evil’s influence in the world. Now there is little time to waste. With his father’s killers in fast pursuit and his birthday ever approaching, Alex must struggle to survive with the help of the Gods, all the while combating his sickness and his ever crippling ignorance.
