Loves of Duchess: Duchess
()
About this ebook
My primary reason for writing this and the earlier book is for my wife's enjoyment and future memories. The story of Duchess is a dogs view of our lives together following the passing of both our spouses. So the story is really about the three of us starting out as a new family. It is a story of love that closely parallels Shirley's and Barry's story together. The plot is real, but the "actors" are the dogs. It is both a love story and a travel adventure story as Duchess falls in love and sets off to see the world. In the end the adventure comes back to home where the three of us continue to enjoy life to the fullest with the companionship of our beautiful Doberman.

PREFACE
This is my second book. My daddy wrote my first book, Thoughts of a Duchess, well... we really wrote it together. Daddy co-authored my barks and put my thoughts into human words. He is such a good Daddy, one look from me and he just gets it done. I am one lucky Doberman girl!
The title of my new book, Loves of a Duchess, was selected because I wanted to let everyone know about the loves of my life in addition to my Mommy and Daddy. I hope you enjoy reading about my doggie boyfriends and our adventures.
You will notice in this book, I take a little time to tell you about myself, such as my breed and that of my boyfriends. This is to help you humans understand how things look to a dog.
Starting with myself, I am a Doberman bitch (oh how I dislike that term!). As a Doberman, I have an air of nobility about me. I think that is why Mommy named me Duchess (quite fitting if I say so myself). I love and fearlessly stand ready to protect my home and my Mommy and Daddy. Thanks to my breeding and training I have a very inquisitive mind, a strong body and the heart and spirit of a gentlewoman. While my bark might at first scare you a bit, down deep I am a sweetie and a very good and friendly girl.
Loves of Dutchess
My Boys
I have four boyfriends: Rudolfo, a handsome Italian Golden Retriever; Otto, my darling German Shepherd; Max a stately Great Dane; and Pierre my mad French lover. Each boy is madly in love with me ... but I am getting ahead of myself.
Now I am not one of those flirty girls,
but I do enjoy the companionship of good looking male
