Stan Berenstain

Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bears books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Though Stan died in 2005 and Jan in 2012, Mike continues to create the delightful Bear adventures from his studio in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country.

The Berenstein Bears book collection is a fun reading collection for children to jump into! This particular book is about Mothers Day and how the family sees how hard working Mother Bear is and they would like to do something special for her on her special day! This is a great book for teaching instruction and for children to look through and see how Mothers Day is a special day to celebrate Moms! Mothers are always taking care of the family and making sure everyone is healthy and safe. This book is about how to show appreciation and love to your mom!
