About this ebook

New Orleans, 1870. With her infant daughter Larissa, Julianna LeCroix heads west to begin a new life in Idaho after unscrupulous lawyers steal her inheritance following her husband's death. Along the way she encounters kind strangers who share the gospel with her, and a desperate drifter named Jack Bower who takes her hostage to conceal his identity from hired killers hot on his trail. As he travels with Julianna, Jack finds himself falling in love with the spirited and beautiful young widow. He hires on with a local rancher, becomes a Christian, and eventually asks Julianna to marry him-just before the stagecoach that would separate them forever heads for the horizon!

Another good story in the life of Hannah Cooper and her family in the town of Fort Bridger, set in the 1800s. This book is just a continuation of the other stories in this series, so I highly recommend reading them in the order written. This story brought in some new characters that I haven't met before, which made the story even more interesting.Julianna LeCroix is heading to Idaho from New Orleans with her baby daughter Larissa. She doesn't want to be traveling there, but her husband has died and her lawyers were crooks who took all her money so she must go and live with her in-laws. On the way West she will "kind of" be kidnapped by Jack Bower, a drifter who is running from some men who want to kill him. You will also meet Jacob who has come West to name a living. But that is another story within this story. As usual, I enjoyed my time getting to know these folks and keeping up with the Cooper family. Time goes by fast as I am reading, and I am always anxious to begin the next story in this series.
