Phil research in sacred symbolism and Zoroastrianism. Simultaneously she began esoteric studies and practice, and was a founder member of the Saros Foundation for the Perpetuation of Knowledge 1978-2001 and High Peak Meditation. Her first two books give details of this background. She teaches classic non-denominational meditation, and trained in a coaching method working with metaphor and symbol called Symbolic Encounters.
