From 1957-1961 he served honorably in the US Air Force then successfully completed 20 years of public-school teaching with an MS of Education from Southern Illinois University. Later he completed 20 years as a Minister of the Gospel in the United Methodist Church in the Illinois Great Rivers Conference as an Elder with an MDIV from Christian Theological Seminary. He is the author of 16 books of which 6 are Christian devotionals and 3 are novels.view less
