Her fascination with the eerie, odd, and supernatural began with the six-fingered hand of the Creature Feature movies crawling out of the ground and into her imagination. In addition to nightmares of bugs making words on her wall, those movies sparked a lifetime’s worth of stories that tend to bend the laws of physics, often nudging her thrillers into sci-fi territory.
Monica lives in the Hudson Valley region north of New York City, far enough to be considered upstate by city dwellers but close enough to be considered a city dweller by those upstate. These days, it's safe to assume she's writing the sequel to Bulletproof.
