He worked on the manufacture and design of auto automatic transmissions. He did his engineering studies part time at night while raising a family and building a new home. He called that period character building. He is very committed to honesty and integrity and that trait probably led him to his life changing experience. He is a practical person who loves nature and people. He was often referred to as the quiet achiever. He believes the chaotic world we are currently living in is the result of a spiritual vacuum where authentic values are ignored, and integrity lines crossed as a matter of business. He sees the need to change our economic structures. The only real items on planet earth are people and nature, and the well-being of both is ignored in our current economic teachings developed by merchant bankers and industrialists. Doug receives a spiritual healing each week and is convinced it keeps him in good health. he has no fear of death.view less
