For many years he taught English with all its components of grammar punctuation, writing and reading. After retirement, he began to write books for children. Ernest developed a phonetic approach for learning with his first book, The Great Alphabet Reminder Book, so as to help primary students become phonetically competent. His Holiday Collection of stories includes: The Magic Christmas Train, Christmas Dinner To Go, and his most recent work, Orville Saves Christmas. Ernest currently resides in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.view less
