As a child he was involved in equestrian ventures, in college he became interested in writing, and as an adult he has become a teacher. A trauma and cancer survivor, Spencer has used his many experiences to promote mental health awareness, champion for social change, and acceptance. Spencer now lives in Colorado with his husband, and many pets. He is a teacher, volunteer, mental health champion, and friend.view less
