He lived and worked in Mexico, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Kuwait, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Los Angeles, before moving to the North End of Dartmouth Nova Scotia, popularly known as the Dark Side. His short story The Poet was made into a feature film directed by Michael Rothecker. It was invited to the Montreal International Film Festival in 2007. He died in 2022.view less
