In the fall of 1968, he became the first Vietnam veteran to enter Harvard University. His thirty-year marketing career began with the New York Mets as the assistant ticket manager. He subsequently held senior positions with insurance broker Johnson & Higgins in Boston, Portland, and Charlotte. He went onto become the founding managing partner of the Greater Washington (DC) Initiative. He and his wife Nina reside in Huntington,New York.view less
