She headed the art department at the Immaculate Heart College, where she created her 10 Art Department Rules. In 1968, she left the order and moved to Boston to focus exclusively on her art. She remained in Boston until her death in 1986, leaving behind almost 800 serigraph editions, thousands of watercolors, and innumerable public and private commissions. Her work has been shown at major museums across the country, including the Whitney, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In 2016 she received the American Institute of Graphic Arts Medal.view less
