He has investigated approximately 650 cases to determine causation for patient injuries and deaths involving defective medical devices, hospital equipment, pharmaceutical products, physician and health care provider errors, and other contributing factors. Dr. Reese has been approved by both State and Federal Courts as a qualified Medical Expert and has rendered many hundreds of opinions, findings and conclusions to cases he has investigated, including high profile cases. His expertise has been retained in almost every state. Dr. Reese has designed and developed many critical medical devices involving Cardiovascular, Neurological, Rehab., Ophthalmic devices, and others. He has researched materials that were suitable for human implantation. Dr. Reese has been an advisor and consultant to the health care community, and the Medical Device Industry for over 30 years. His Post-Doctoral research has investigated the design, development, and manufacture of critical, implantable Medical Devices that have caused unusually high injuries, and deaths, and hazards that contribute to per-mature end of life.
