Coming from a big family (six) the...view moreTyraina Walker was born and raised in New York. She currently lives upstate, where she says “it has been the most freeing transition in my life”. Coming from a big family (six) the focus on just one child was hard to do. Growing up in the city, she didn’t have much clarity, space to think, or even understand her emotions. Since living here, she’s learned so much about herself and what she needs to continue to be the best her. Up until the last four years of her life she began to take writing more seriously as a form of healthy expression. Getting more comfortable with sharing works with friends, family, and new people along the way, it has become clear just how much we are all alike. Now more than ever, she has an urgent need to share it with the world in hopes it’ll help the next person.
When she’s not writing, she is making floral art, spending time outdoors, and working with her favorite people in the world, kids.view less
