While at Louisiana College she and her sidekick Thomas (who later became her husband) were exchange students in London and became devoted Anglophiles. In 2004 they decided to live adventurously and leave the American South and move to the United Kingdom. They lived for a decade in England and then moved to Wales where she continues to reside after the untimesly death of her beloved husband. She is an author, an artist and an activist.view less
