After seeing an episode of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood that gave a behind the scenes look at how books are made, she proudly proclaimed she wanted to be a “book maker” and write her own books.As she grew older she began writing poetry and short stories as a hobby occasionally publishing them online for her friends and family to read. After high school she entered college to earn a degree in Library Science. It wasn’t until 2011 when she first participated in the 30 day; 50,000 word NaNoWriMo program that she realized the career she truly wanted to pursue was that of an author.Since then she has been working on her first book, a poetry compilation and has participated in NaNoWriMo and Camp NaNoWriMo; winning for the first time in 2012.Currently she is writing her first novel and nervously awaiting the release of her poetry compilation. In her spare time, she enjoys role-playing games, reading and playing video games with her husband.She lives in Indiana with her husband, Adam and their Yellow Labrador, Nova.view less
