Her early days were spent swimming in the river, camping all over the unique and beautiful country that is her home and of course reading mystery, suspense and action adventure novels at every available opportunity. She later went on to study a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree at university focusing on the areas of textiles, photography and art history. After eleven years of creatively working as an interior decorator, Alison now owns and operates a small business with her husband. She still lives in country New South Wales with her husband, two children and a small, energetic pooch. Captive Minds is Alison’s first novel and she is currently enjoying working on the second book in the "Captive Series'.view less
