writer and performer. His first solo show, Redheaded Stepchild, has
toured Canada coast to coast. His most recent solo shows are Iggy
Beamish, which debuted at the Edmonton Fringe in 2023, and The
Heterosexuals, which has been performed in Toronto; Edmonton; Vancouver; Victoria; and Dublin, Ireland. His play Shove It Down My Throat
premiered at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in 2019. He is a founding member of
BoylesqueTO and has hosted dozens of their shows across North America.
Johnnie is also a DJ and the producer of the long-running Queer nightlife
series HEY GIRL HEY.view less
