He was p...view moreSimon O’Brien grew up the youngest of seven children. His mother was a voracious reader and passed that on to him. When he had children of his own, he began making up stories to tell them. He was persuaded to start writing these stories down and The Adventures of Sir Hugo Bear is the first one to be completed. Sir Hugo was a bear given to Simon by his daughters as a Father’s Day gift.
When Simon isn’t writing, he holds down a day job working for the Ministry of Justice. He also plays guitar, rides a 1300cc Honda motorcycle and walks his bulldog, Whisper.view less
