Her father, Butch, would take her and her sister on long bike rides along the C&D canal where they grew up. She resides in beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania, with her family, and three rescue dogs and is working on more children's books and a novel. She decided this character, "Butchie," needed to meet the world and little readers everywhere.
