Poetry is zen and can often serve as the catalyst to break through moments of harsh realities. While pursuing his bachelor's degree, Deveon was an English tutor at the university for approximately five years, primarily serving ESL students. In addition, during this time, Deveon would explore spoken word poetry, performing at colleges and many other venues throughout the counties of Los Angeles and Orange. Exuding much fervor for the English language and creative writing, Deveon aspires to continue writing poetry books, as well as children books.view less
