She spent her entire childhood a...view moreElizabeth Fabien was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on June 4th, 1986 as the daughter of the late Hebert Dallemand (d.1995) and Marie Claude Fabien. She spent her entire childhood and teenage years in Haiti until moving to the United States in 2004 to pursue a higher education. Her passion for writing started to develop when she was 14 after watching a songwriting “konkou chante nwèl” contest on Telemax, a Haitian broadcasting Television in 1999. Since then, she has been writing poetry, plays, short stories, lyrics, and free-texts. She is a proud graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Panthers class of 2010. Currently, she works as a vice president with a large firm where she specializes in financial planning. Elizabeth is an individual who displays a lot of passion and caring in everything she does; she also loves God, her family and friends. Her pieces portray love, friendship, biblical, moral principles, fictional and other creative aspects which are all a part of who she is.view less
