In the 1980s and 1990s he plied his trade in several states, earning an Arizona Associated Press award for in-depth coverage with the Bullhead City Booster in 1991.
He missed the death of journalism by several years, and sat on the sidelines when publications shut down or eliminated staff. He still has the same journalist's attitude, which makes his life interesting but occasionally gets him in trouble.
He now writes fiction, claiming there's no real difference between that and mainstream journalism. Since 2012 he published four novels: The Beta Testers, B.I.C. Cartel, Desert Vendetta, and Damage Control.view less
