She has experience as a Montessori pre-school teacher, corporate trainer, technical writer, project manager, creator and administrator of large corporate universities, and expert troubleshooter diagnosing, designing, and implementing large-scale systemic solutions to mission-critical organizational issues. During her career, she worked for several Fortune 100 companies and has traveled extensively throughout western Europe and Australia. She holds a BA in Sociology, an MA in Business and is certified by the Association of Montessori International.
Lucinda retired from corporate life in 2014 and moved from the East Coast to New Mexico, after having fallen in love with the American Southwest during a series of family vacations to national parks and monuments across California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. During these vacations, Lucinda had several of what she has described as spiritual connections with the land. She is currently involved in a long-term love affair with the mountains, rivers, flora, and fauna that surround her in the middle Rio Grande Valley where she lives with her husband William.
In retirement, Lucinda enjoys reading, writing, painting, making things with her hands, birding, and charity work. Lucinda and William have been married for forty years and have one son, Patrick, an attorney in private practice in California.view less
