His re-envisioning of fairy and folk tales and touchstones of literature offer different things to different audiences, both children and adults. He writes stories that re-envision familiar and foundational tales, drawing on Clement Moore, L. Frank Baum, the brothers Grimm and Nathaniel Hawthorne. He received advanced degrees from the University of Maine and the University of Notre Dame. He teachers literature at NHTI, Concord's Community College, in central New Hampshire.view less
