An interesting and often hilarious few years, followed by the Merchant Navy and emigration to Australia where he travelled extensively. Working in a copper mine, various labouring jobs and back to sea again on a Tasmanian lobster boat. In later years he worked in Aboriginal communities in the Gulf of Carpentaria and the Red Centre. Currently settled in a quiet coastal town on 90 Mile Beach in Gippsland, Victoria, where he is surrounded by the sea.view less
