Dealing with a life changing illness brought a sharper focus on the things that matter in life. Writing had always been a guilty pleasure but it was the imposition of the lockdown in March 2020 that created a space to bring her writing to the forefront. Lin picked up the threads of a novel that had been bubbling away on the back burner of her mind for many years. Believing in the life changing nature of reading and the importance of redemptive acts led to the writing of The Lift Book Club.view less
