He has collaborative research links all over the world, including with the Institute for Frontier Materials, Deakin University (where he has an honorary Fellowship), Bio 21, University of Melbourne, Macquarie University, Tunghai University, Taiwan, RWTH Aachen University, Germany, University of Akron, USA, Arizona State University, USA, and Universidad de la Republica, Uruguay.
