On and off the ice, Ray is considered one of hockey’s great personalities, a chronic practical joker, and a true ambassador of the sport. Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, Ray has lived in the same neighbourhood for more than 50 years and in 2006 he started the Ray Scapinello Foundation to help needy students from the area pay for college.view less
