At twenty-one years old, he moved from Northern California to Colorado. Five years later he landed his dream job as a snow-cat powder skiing guide in the backcountry near Aspen. His career spanned parts of four decades. During that time he also worked as a builder, and was a twenty year volunteer with Response, an organization which helps victims of domestic violence. He's now an honorary board member. The author divides his time among the mountains of Colorado, the Utah desert, and the Big Island of Hawaii. Bat Tales is his first book.view less
