She is the author of the Minnesota Book Award finalist Do Not Find Me and its companion, The Autobiography of Corrine Bernard, which was selected as a semifinalist for the Chautauqua Prize in 2019. Her novel of small-town characters in mid-century America, Rare Birds, was released in 2017. Ms Novak's poetry has been published in literary magazines nationally.view less
