Li...view moreThe author has worked over 23 years in jails and prisons. Prior to that he worked as a reserve patrol officer. His duties ranged from working on death row to supervising inmates on work release. Like everyone in law enforcement he has many stories to share and wants to give the public a little insight as to what it’s like to be on the other side of the bars. Most of us will never see the inside of a jail cell but may be curious as to what it’s like. Maybe that’s why so many old prisons become museums and are very popular with tourists. He retired as a sergeant from a county jail in North Idaho.view less
