I am one of five siblings. I was educated at Kinte Kunda, then Armitage High School, a registered nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Banjul, before embarking to USA on my medical degree quest. I graduated from Alpena Community College with A.A. in biology, Olivet College: B. A. Degree in biology, M.Sc in biology at Michigan Tech University and the MD degree from the American University School of Medicine, Montserrat in 1992. I returned to Gambia and set up a self-help village NGO Manding Medical Centre. Gambia Government and the Badibou authority recognized NGO Manding Medical Centre 1993. It has treated 9000 patients free. I created Gambia Health Credit which is in serve today. I am medical officer at the Royal at the Royal Victoria Hospital on study leave.
