Trained in many of today's cutting edge psychotherapy models, mindfulness practices and shamanic techniques, Monique is able to weave together a unique and singular approach that integrates both ancient and modern modalities. She is known for both her depth of presence and gentleness in her counseling practice, her teaching and her workshops.
Monique has served on the faculties of Columbia University School of Social Work, the State University of New York at Stony Brook’s Department of Child Welfare, Mercy College Department of Psychology, and the Institute for Contemporary Therapy Trauma Program. She was a group supervisor for the the third year psychiatric residents at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
