He lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where he has practiced law for over 40 years. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School. He is well known as a lawyer who has fought for the underdog, both as a civil rights and criminal defense lawyer. He has dedicated this book to his late wife, Amy Adelman.
