He has lived in Beaux Arts Village, Washington for 40 years. A graduate of the University of Washington in biology and in medicine he is a retired board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with a long interest in genealogy and history. His history of the Presbytery of Seattle has been an eleven year research project, as ninety years of presbytery records were lost and had to be reconstructed. He has been involved with many church, professional and community organizations. The Welshs have three adult sons.view less
