She is also author of the books: School Reform, Finance and Law (May 2003) and Ways to Finance a College Education (September 2005). Dr. Tonsil makes her home in Maryland, but continues fellowship as a member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church in Dinwiddie, Virginia, and First Baptist Church of Atlanta, in Atlanta, Georgia.
