I have been mentally institutionalized and am a survivor of partner abuse. Growing up in Toronto I took courses such as Play writing, Journalism, Creative Writing and English Literature. Wanting to have a better understanding of myself and others I majored in Social Work at Ryerson; minoring in Sociology and studying under an anti-oppressive framework.view less
