He was close with his brother and sisters and developed a liking to all things sci-fi. He never liked to read books and did poorly in his academics because he had undiagnosed dyslexia. He loved to entertain his brothers and friends by telling them stories he would make up. He eventually joined the military, where he wrote manuals and instructions for Health Physics. He earned his degrees while on active duty, and now is retired sitting at home with his loving and patient wife of over 25-years. His two children are grown, completed their degrees, and released to the perils of the world. His wife and two kids are his inspiration for living.
