The oldest of seven kids, she was the one that was there for everyone and always had to push her dreams behind. One of them was to continue her education and to follow a path in journalism and be a professional writer. But that never happened. At the age of sixteen, Maria got married and had to close her dreams in a drawer and, five days later, immigrated to Canada. Maria took the step one more time to enter the education system, ending up in an adult center and trying to complete whatever was necessary to get the diploma. Once more, she managed to accomplish part of her dream hidden in a drawer many years ago. Along with a husband, three children, and a house to look after, she discovered the beauty of escaping into the world of romance and started to write. After all, life is full of challenges, and they never end.view less
