He has been an educator, teaching Spanish, English and bilingual education in New Mexico, since 1976. He has been a translator since 1970. He is married to Camilla Vigil, also a teacher, and together they have had seven children, six boys and one girl. Two of his children are featured illustrators in this publication.view less
