Fluent in German, he studied German literature at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He presently makes his way in life as a poet and classical singer. A Verdi tenor, he has sung in Italian opera and sang German lieder for the German cultural attaché in Philadelphia. He currently gives song recitals in the United States and Germany. He divides his time between St. Paul, Minnesota; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Hamburg, Germany. His hobbies are translating German poetry and drinking German beer.view less
