State of Texas comes forth a refined, profound, and experienced female
Servant of God named Sheryl Annette Brown-Loftis, who resides in the
Southwest area of Houston,Texas. In every Christian soldier’s life, there
is a biblical character to whom they are likened. In the book of Genesis,
chapter 37, a dreamer is revealed by the name of Joseph. Though he was
of the masculine gender, his life bespeaks of that of the author’s path to
a palatial experience. Follow his life’s pattern from Genesis 37 to Genesis
50; the pattern was from the pasture to the pit, the pit to the palace, the
palace to prison and from the prison to the palace.
Sheryl’s life was likened to Joseph in that as a young dreamer, she
went from (UP) in the pasture, (DOWN) in the pit, (UP) in the palace,
(DOWN) into prison, and then (UP) to the palace.
The pasture represented the fresh and green parental provisions
from childhood. The pit represented a place of darkness and solitude—undesired but no choice.
The palace represented kingly treatment, bouncing back from a
pitfall. An endorsement of God’s favor. But even at that, God was not
through with the refinement of Joseph’s character. God’s permissive will
subjected him to a prisoner’s experience.
The prison represented a place of refinement rather than confinement.
Sometimes God has to hurt us before he helps us.
The palace represented a place of the king where freedom rings. It is
only the freed that can set the captive’s free. Genesis 50:19b–21a says,
“Fear not: for I am in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought
evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is
this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will
nourish you and your little ones”.
An anonymous writer declared, “He who does not climb the
mountain cannot see the view”. The author has been there, done that.
It is at this juncture in her life that she was inspired to write it plain in a
book concerning her experiences on her way up as a dreamer. As a licensed and Ordained Minister and Overseer of Pinnacle Breakthrough Ministries, Inc., which is under the currently under the covering of Bishop Elect Will Simon, Pastor of Macedonia Christian Fellowship of Houston, Texas, she has been active as an Evangelist, Workshop/Conference Speaker, 24 Hour Prayer Intercessor hosting a 24 hour Kingdom Builder’s Prayerline, Counselor, Spiritual Advisor, Motivational and Inspirational Speaker, Teacher, Prophetess to the nations and a Spiritual Mother to many.
