soldier as a single parent until she married and divorced an abusive husband.
Dr. Lewis did not know her father. She never felt loved by him or her
grandmother. She ran away from home and dropped out of high school when
she got pregnant. She did not know how to relate to men. But she wanted
to. She married her daughters father and divorced him eleven months later
because he was abusive.
She took the time to write this book because she wanted to help men to
understand women. She knew that men complained about not being able to
make heads or tales out of what women wanted. Men claimed not to know
what their women wanted.view less
