She spent her time exploring the beautiful castle, gardens and parkland and later worked at the castle during her gap year.
Lucy currently lives in Oxfordshire with her husband, James, and two-year-old daughter, Willow. Whenever they return to Welshpool to visit family and friends, they visit Powis Castle. It was on one of these recent visits that Lucy decided to base her book on the castle.view less
