His poetry and scholarly writings on Jazz have appeared in The Crisis, CODA, Quarto, Cadence, and other publications. He has also presented his poetry at colleges, clubs, theaters, and festivals in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. From 1984-90, Mr. Bratton hosted "Wednesday Out To Lunch," a weekly Jazz program on New York Citys WKCR-FM, where he sometimes read his poetry. He now lives in Mt. Washington, Maryland, with his daughter, Emma.view less
