She received her BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, and her MAT from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. The inspiration for her artwork and writing comes from her interactions with her students. Heather currently lives in Manhattan and teaches at a public arts high school. She enjoys commuting on her bicycle, playing kickball, vegan cooking, and advocating for farm animal rights.view less
