A high school teacher for many years, she then became a high school counselor. She is married, mother of three, grandmother and work prevented her from accomplishing much until retirement. She has published two books of poetry, over one hundred poems in small literary journals, and several short stories. Reading is a favorite pastime; caring for stray and abused animals a lifelong commitment. She enjoys country living in Bridgeport, Michigan.view less
