He hails from Egweama (paternal) and Obiata in Nembe (maternal), all in Bayelsa State of Nigeria. The Port Harcourt–born writer who lives in Yenagoa has written many poems to his credit. Some of which have been featured in national and international anthologies and magazines. He attended the S.T Mary Catholic School (primary) in Port-Harcourt, National Professional Secondary School (NPSS) and later the Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Biogbolo/Yenegue Gene where he represented the school in the Bayelsa State Environmental Poetry and Essay Competition (BASEPEC) in which his poem “Yenagoa of My Dream” was shortlisted among the best ten. Some of the books that have featured his works are “Love, a Four Letter Word,” edited by Raja William, “Emanation, Foray into Forever,” edited by Carler Kaplan, “Epistles of Lies,” edited by Adebayo Adeyemi, “Tribute to Mandela,” edited by Madan Ghandi and Mitiu Olawuyi, to mention but a few.
“An Empty Kingdom” is the writer’s first published play. The writer is currently reading law in the Niger Delta University (2015).
